Drawing inspiration from PODIUM’s rich expertise in furniture craftsmanship and cutting-edge production technology, this sub-collection introduces distinct pieces that seamlessly blend creative product design and the aesthetic of hand-woven materials and unique shapes, achieved through intricate woodworking techniques. Materials
German Beech and American White Oak
In the creation of FLEX, we highly value our selection of the finest solid beech wood, chosen from sustainably managed forests in Germany. Paper Cord
Paper cord is an eco-friendly material in furniture design, causing no harm to the environment. It provides a soft, temperature-consistent, and well-ventilated nature, creating a cozy interior atmosphere.
This sustainable material requires minimal care and lasts for years. When it eventually wears out, it can be rewoven, allowing the furniture to be used for generations. Textilene
Textilene is another kind of woven material tailored for versatile use in furniture or decorative applications across various settings.
The inner layer of Textilene is woven with polyester threads known for their resilience, durability, and excellent flexibility. Adding an extra layer of protection, the outer surface is coated with PVC. Notably, this material choice does not absorb water, and its surface has minimal water adhesion, allowing it to dry quickly compared to natural fibers. These distinctive features collectively position Textilene as an optimal selection for both furniture and decorative elements in a wide array of environments.
Available in two distinguished color options – the deep, rich hues of Black and the warm, inviting tones of Coffee Cream.
