Building on the adaptable functionality and enduring aesthetics showcased in BLOC SMITH collection, this year’s display introduced new dimensions of materiality and modular living.
The booth featured a bold yet refined structure, with soft-toned surfaces that framed a thoughtfully crafted experience. Visitors were invited to explore the latest modular kitchens and wardrobe systems from BLOC SMITH collection, reflecting PODIUM’s commitment to design innovation and material excellence. Every element embodied the spirit of timeless design for modern living.
The atmosphere was intentionally calm and welcoming, encouraging visitors to slow down and experience the materials at their own pace. A soft, neutral palette highlighted the natural textures of various wood types and curated stone surfaces, while the layout embraced an open flow, expressing a design philosophy that is honest and balanced.
Showcasing the Latest BLOC SMITH KITCHEN
At the center of the booth stood the latest BLOC SMITH KITCHEN, a perfect embodiment of PODIUM’s handcrafted finesse and precision technology. The cabinet door panels, finished in deep-textured ‘Sunwashed Oak Veneer’, offered a rich, tactile surface that enhanced the natural warmth of wood.
For cabinet bodies, each veneer was carefully matched and sewn to create flowing grain patterns, a technique that reflects our dedication to craftsmanship. This process avoids repetition and allows the grain to continue naturally across panels, resulting in a unified and elegant appearance.
Hand-selected woods with stunning grains ensured every piece met PODIUM’s exacting standards. Solid wood drawers, built with traditional dovetail joints, emphasized both structural strength and artisanal details.
Technological precision played an equally vital role. Every cut, edge, and surface was crafted with accuracy, creating kitchens that are clean, consistent, and tailored to exact specifications. Each BLOC SMITH cabinet maintained perfect 90-degree angles, ensuring visual harmony and smooth fitting functionality.
To maintain the highest standard of user experience, wood surfaces were coated with F4 Star-certified PU from Japan, which helps slow yellowing, allows for easy cleaning with alcohol without leaving marks, and reduces health risks from harmful chemicals.
Complementing the woodwork, the kitchen’s accessories were made from solid wood and finished with food-grade oil, protecting surfaces naturally while avoiding microplastic contamination — a safer, more sustainable choice for everyday living.
The Beauty and Performance of CRAFT STONE by GEOLUXE
Bringing natural elegance into the heart of the kitchen, ‘LUXE MOONSTONE’ from CRAFT STONE by GEOLUXE was selected as the curated stone surface. Inspired by the serene beauty of a moonlit night sky, this innovative stone introduced visual charm and practical resilience into the kitchen environment.
Beyond its refined appearance, LUXE MOONSTONE offered outstanding performance. Engineered to resist impact and scratching, it stood up to the demands of everyday cooking — from pounding spices to heavy preparation. Its high heat resistance allowed it to handle hot cookware without damage, maintaining both beauty and function over time.
The non-porous surface also provided easy maintenance, resisting liquid absorption and requiring only a simple wipe to stay pristine — perfect for modern kitchens that value durability as much as design.
Reimagining BLOC SMITH WARDROBE
The showcase extended beyond the kitchen into living spaces with the reimagined BLOC SMITH WARDROBE. Offering highly adaptable configurations, the wardrobes combined functional clarity with a refined visual appeal, designed to meet the diverse needs of contemporary lifestyles.
Adding a new dimension to the system was the introduction of deep-textured ‘Earthmark Walnut Veneer’. With a grain pattern reminiscent of woven fabric, this distinctive surface invited touch and stood out visually, adding rich character to the collection.
