CANE
Under the concept of “East meets West”, CANE was invented to tell the story of the Orient through “woven rattan”, a traditional eastern material, combined with a Scandinavian design style that focuses on simplicity and functionality. As a result, this collection of furniture genuinely creates a balance between functions, the timeless beauty of natural materials and rounded shapes, and the comfort of contemporary solid wood furniture design.
Wood
We chose FSC certified ash wood imported from North America for the CANE collection to be a primary material. This kind of wood is high impact resistant and has bright tones suitable for making a variety of colors. In addition, ash is easy to bend and clearly shows its natural patterns, making it perfect for furniture that wants to reveal the wood grain. However, American black walnut wood is also an option our customers can choose for these pieces.
Cane
The heaviness of thousands of years in heritage of this material contradict its everlasting visual lightness. Caned surface allows light and air to flow through the furniture while casting fine patterned shade across the furnished space.

Atelier 2+
Atelier 2+ Studio is a Bangkok based creative studio with international recognition in architecture, art, craft and design. Thai-born, Swedish trained Ada Chirakranont and Worapong Manupipatpong works best characterised by blurring the subjectivity of fine art and objectivity of architecture. Atelier 2+ Studio’s approach towards furniture design reaches beyond furniture as a stand-alone product, rather articulates it as a tool for shaping user experience in a furnished space.
